Hi,
I am Cecly Ann Mitchell, Author and Wordsmith.
I write stories about unknown people, whispered events and long forgotten places that exists only in the memory of Trinidad and Tobago's living historians. I am an author of Caribbean Historical Fiction, and this is my World.
I thoroughly enjoyed researching and developing these characters, primarily because they were brought to life through memories of a few of Trinidad's unsung living historians.
La Marin, Sukee and Astral all lived through different periods, on the idyllic Le Noireau Estates, an expansive acreage nestled in the coves of the scenic coastal village of Scotland Bay, on Trinidad's North West Peninsula.
Although their stories are diverse, from the moment French settlers touched the Scotland Bay soil in the late 1700's, the lives of these characters intertwined creating a rich tapestry of everyday life in Trinidad during the fascinating period that hallmarked the island's development through to Independence in 1962.
Come meet them, get lost in their stories and experience a Trinidad like you never knew existed.
Welcome to the Le Noireau Estate of Scotland Bay.
Regards,
Cecly Ann Mitchell
